Running is a simple and very effective way to lose weight but do not make it your sole form of exercise. Running is a very stressful form of cardio and it creates distress in your body. Complete a variety cardio activities to help you gain good overall fitness a combination of running ( long, short, soft sand running and sprint efforts), walk (long and fast) , bike efforts (RPM classes), weight training and yoga are the best ways to get good body shape and enhance your physique.
I used to find running long distance to be time effective exercise but now I look back > I was not showing the fitness I felt and I believed I had, I showed ill health due to the stress running was causing me. It was written literally all over my face, wrinkles, floppy skin and always tired. Since I have altered and perfected the my fitness lifestyle with overall fitness routine my body and skin has changed for the better.
Over the years I have found this combination of exercise has changed and made my body into the best it can be as I have remained strong, healthy, lean and aligned and as we get older it is more important >to maintain a well balanced body not only for myself but for my family.
