I have been lucky enough to sit down and chat with another b.livewear crew member’s and see how the b. food and fitness lifestyle has given her optimal health as well as creating their best body ever.

 

An interview with

Whitney

I’d like to introduce to you the wonderful Whitney.

She 28 years old and works full-time as a primary school teacher, married to Jack, has two fur babies and lives a healthy beach life.

She has been completing the b.kickstarter and b.bodyboost for 8 weeks before she hits Bali for a family wedding. Whitney required express body change and she certainly blew me away with her transformation.

 


 

 

  • So Whitney, tell us a little bit about your health and fitness journey (before b.) and why you thought you needed help?

I have always been in ‘reasonable shape’ but after completing my education degree and then stresses of my establishing my career, I found myself gaining some unwanted cushioning everywhere! I was also ignoring all the warning signs my body was giving me about my food and lifestyle choices. I decided that enough was enough and I needed to have a lifestyle alteration!

 

  • How did your family and friends react to your changing habits?

My family and friends can’t believe how great I look. My attitude towards health and fitness has helped inspire some of my most loved to start their journey to optimal health. I think my husband has appreciated the change the most- I’m not the emotional unbalanced person that I was- If I am stressed or feeling down I will get a subtle “have you gone to the gym today?”!

 

  • How has the health and fitness changes helped your two fur babies and the children you teach?

I don’t have any children but I do have a Labrador fur baby who has benefited greatly- We walk together every morning!

As for the children I teach, we do more exercise/ movement/ stretching together. This has seen as great improvement in concentration and motivation within the classroom.

 

  • What’s your favourite crave food option now after changing your food lifestyle?

Definitely the b. iced chocolate. It hits the spot when I NEED chocolate!

 

  • What is your favourite family meal?

My favourite family meal is roast chicken and baked vegetables- this is my favourite because I cook enough food to make salads for work.

 

  • If you could give women one piece of advice what would you tell them about health and fitness?

Start your lifestyle change now- not Monday! Also make sure it is a lifestyle change- eating, socialising and exercising not fad diets. You feel rejuvenated, confident and impressed by you own abilities!

 

  • After a big week what is your best way to unwind and enjoy your new body?

Definitely at the beach- sun, sand, surf and laughter

 

  • What is your favourite part about yourself?

Since following the program I have been amazed by the transformation of my whole body- I’m happier, less stressed, feel great in my clothes and stunned by how rejuvenated my skin looks!

 

  • What b. sessions were your favourite?

Speed set by far- I love the intensity and challenge of the weights mixed with short bursts of cardio (not my strong spot but has significantly improved!) When I began this I really started to see the change in my body.

 

  • Thank you so much for sharing part of your beautiful life with me Whitney, lastly what have your learnt from these b.lifestyle changes?

I learnt that, I can do it!

I’m capable of changing my health and lifestyle and not giving into the notion of “oh you are just getting older”.
