Hippy Happy Grains Smoothie

My post gym food must encompass

  • High protein
  • Long lasting carbohydrates
  • Dairy-free
  • Delicious

Therefore I sought to create my ultimate post gym smoothie because time is of the essence when hunger strikes.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon of oats
  • 1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coconut
  • shot of coffee (optional)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • protein powder (Chocolate)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • peanut butter / almond butter
  • granola for decoration

Method

  1. Blend banana, milk, coconut water, seeds, oats, coconut and coffee.
  2. Pour into a jar
  3. Top jar with peanut butter and sprinkle granola
  4. Drink up and feel the energy burst!
